I have designed a desk organizer to make remote learning for students more organized and efficient. My design has a phone holder that has a gap for plugging in a charger. The front face is tilted back so the phone wouldn't fall forwards. My design has five pencil holders which are large enough to hold most pencils, pens and other writing utensils. The design has four rectangular holders that can hold small easy to lose office supplies. The front surface is held up by a stand that is simple and makes the design look modern and sharp.
In the process of designing my desk organizer I had some issues on finding what items were the most important, as well as items that are commonly getting lost. After brainstorming I came up with a couple of items which were pencils, a phone, papers, a planner, sticky notes, paper clips, and earphones. Of course, not all of the items were added due to keeping the size small enough for most users. I used the decision matrix to select which items I would use
