As a lot of people here I am sure that the noise the photon is producing during print is quite annoying. My goal with my resin printer was to be able to keep it in my office and get rid of the noise, as much as the smell (Link to the other mod for the odor down below).
After seeing a lot of mods for the smell, I decided to start with a mod that will allow to replace the bottom fan (screen cooling) with a much bigger, much more effective 120mm computer fan.
I started by checking the power needed by the little fan the photon has and it was a 12V 0.2A.
I used a spare Corsair 120mm fan 12V 0.3A.
This addons requires to unscrew the bottom part of the photon to unplug the original fan that is screwed to the metal plate. once you remove it, you'll need to cut/unweld the wire from the fan (to keep the connection part of the wire to the motherboad). At this point you can also take care of the upper fan by unplugging and remove it as you will not need it if you follo
