Anycubic Predator Effector Upgrade

I was such in a rush to get this together and working that I did not make photos of all the steps.

The results are amazing. I only added 10 grams to the total weight of the effector and components, but now for PLA I can print >50% faster. Biggest difference is thanks to the cooling fans and hotend.

I CNCed the metal parts out of 5mm and 6mm aluminium sheets. These are the STP files. I am also including the STL printable files. I only printed the fan shroud, but the rest should also work – although these can’t beat the strength of metal. I have made changes to the printable files for a few of the details, as it these are finished differently.

Holes that are set to 2.45mm are meant to be threaded. You will also need to countersink the plates for the mounting of the hotend to the hotend plate, as well as for the fan plate mount on the effector plate.

You will need to print 2 fan shrouds, but one need to be printed mirrored!
