The original spool holder of the Anycubic i3 Mega was not good, the filament movement was not uniform. So I made a few caps to make sure the spool is centered.
The existing caps in thingiverse did not match the filaments I bought later, and they were thick and clumsy ;-)
I wanted to use a minimum of material for it. I am shure you can remove more.
The small rings are used to hold the caps on the spool.
So you have to attach a ring, a cap, the spool, a cap and another ring to the pole of the anycubic filament holder. So you need to print two of each...
With these, the filament change can be easily performed without printing caps for each spool.
I uploaded sizes for different filament spools.
I have printed the caps and rings with PLA, 0.2mm no supports.
Edit2018/12/12 I have added a bar and a barcap, fitting to the spool caps. Print the bar laying on the side with a raft. Worked for me.
