This is a spacebar compatible with the Apple IIe keyboard. This is not an exact replica of the original spacebar (I have none to model from), but it is a usable replacement.
The original spacebar had mounting points for 3 keyswitches, although only the center one is actually used. The outer ones had a support sliver that were inserted into the mounting points. This version has the supports integrated.
There is a hole in each of these supports where a ~15AWG metal bar fits. This metal bar fits into clips mounted on the keyboard its self, and keeps the spacebar level when pressed off-center. If your keyboard is missing this metal bar, it can be constructed from 15AWG wire. 14AWG is more common, although the parts of the bar that mate with the clips will need to be sanded/filed down so the bar can rotate freely when clipped in.
