These are the brackets i used to build my "modern" Macintosh. These brackets mount completely non-destructively so you don't have to modify any original plastics. However, depending on your ports, you may have to modify the brackets/drill some holes.

I used a Dell Optiplex 3040 micro as the actual computer.

Here is the rest of the parts (they are affiliate links)

USB 2.0 cable https://amzn.to/3M07uRD
Power connector https://amzn.to/46sJTB8 (I cut the wings off to fit better)
USB 3.0 cable (I used 2) https://amzn.to/3PM7ghK (you do have to shave them a bit to fit)
Audio cable https://amzn.to/48T2pUY (you have to drill a hole in the 3D-printed bracket)
180-degree HDMI adapter https://amzn.to/3PXd5Jy
USB 3.0 to USB C https://amzn.to/3ZRST00 (I put this in the place of the original keyboard port)
Right angle USB C https://amzn.to/3QfFsnw
You also will need a small HDMI cable.
The power switch requires a standard 6mm tactile button.
