Apple tv 3 USB conversion

I designed this adapter to fit inside the apple tv 3. gen to hold a micro usb connector to power it, because I wanted to use it together with my "portable" monitor which I can supply with a battery to mirror my iPhone over airplay. It doesn’t sit perfectly flush with the housing(its still a bit recessed), but it can be screwed into the mounting holes for the original power supply.
The design fits a micro usb connector with a small portion of its original board (i just cut mine out of an old powerbank pcb) to give it more stability and make it easier to solder the wires to the proper terminals.

ATENTION: THE APPLE TV NEEDS 3.4V AND NOT THE 5V SUPPLIED BY USB. YOU HAVE TO USE A SMALL DC-DC CONVERTER (which you can buy very cheaply online) AND TUNE IT PROPERLY.
