As someone who has problems imagining how big my next print will be, I have designed these little 1cm cuboids that can be interlocked with others to show the approximate size of a 3D-printed item. These bricks can be attached to a corner piece in three directions, the X, Y, and Z axes. In the file you will also find small letters that can be attached to the corner stone to show which color comes where. I printed these parts with a Flashforge Adventurer 5m Pro with a 0.4 nozzle with the colors white, red, blue and green in PLA filament. There are two versions of the "Approximants", the cuboid version and the lite version The regular version allows one to make a full cuboid, while the lite version is faster to assemble. Cuboid version: 1cm blocks 2cm blocks 1cm connector block 2cm connector block 8 regular corner pieces 8 small corner pieces (to be connected to another corner piece with a 1cm connector block) Letters are to be printed in the dedicated color Only the corner pieces need supports, I recommend tree supports but normal will do fine My model shown here is 8cm x 12cm x 10cm big. This model is a playful take on a ruler that shows you three lengths at once in a playful, colorful manner. Everything should be assembled in the 3mf file Have fun printing
