Aquaponics system

Aquaponic is described as growing plants and fish in a system, waste from fish will be pumped to provide nutrients for the plants, water is clean and pumped back for the fish to live in.

I had a glass container (10" x 10" x 10") that was in my garage for years, saw an article on aquaponic and thought this would be a good project. Designed a simple square top tank that fits on top of the glass container, allowed room for the power cord for the small pump and added gravel from an old fish tank and started it up. Its been going for a week and so far no leaks.

The plants that are in place now came from cuttings that I had in water for a couple of weeks. There are some good videos showing what plants can be used,

The main thing is the settings for the slicer, more walls the better for controlling water leaks. The one I printed was with PLA using 4 walls, 4 floor and 4 top layers, in-fill was 20% using a gyroid pattern. Supports re needed, use tree supports to make removing the support
