Aquarium filter return disperser

I have been building an external trickle filter for my aquarium, this is the return inlet from the filter. Fits 14mm OD, 1/2" ID garden hose).
The hose should fit snugly into the hole and the whole thing is slid over the corner of the aquarium (6mm glass).
