These columns were created to hold heavy marble platforms. We call them turtle apartments. The apartments serve as sleep/hiding places and a platform they can stand on to get some air while still safe in the water. They are heavy so that the turtles can not move them around. The apartments also serve as anchors for their heaters. we had the marble cut at a nearby stone shop, which were very inexpensive.This set of columns are for Zander, who is pictured. His name is emblazoned on the base. This name can be removed or used as a tribute to a very cute Red Eared Slider.PLA printed columns worked great for about 3 years for us, but I would recommend using PETG.25% infillNo supports needed.
