AR15 Lightweight Buttstock

This is a lightweight clamping style buttstock for the AR15. The bolt and nut should be #8. I have tested an earlier version of the print for fit, but I have not tested the bolt/nut fitment yet.

The STL file contains a custom support for the clamp cutout, but you will likely need additional support from the buildplate for the arches at the base. I recommend strong filaments if you plan for this to be functional. Nylon is probably best, but PETG may work ok. It will never hold up to mortaring; it's a 3d print after all. More shells is better. Infill probably at least 50% or more.

If it looks super tiny when you import it into your slicer, set the scale for 2540% (inch to millimeter conversion).

I plan on eventually making a version which can use aftermarket rubber butpads, and perhaps create a custom fit STL buttpad which can be printed in TPU. I may also extend the design and build in cheekweld or even try to make a customizable
