AR2 Robot Remix

Having already built the D-Bot large volume printer (300x300x300), I wanted to print this machine with fewer part and improve the strength in several areas. Here are a few of the parts I remixed by bashing several parts together to improve strength and aid in the assembly of the unit ( I hate epoxy).


7/17/2018 Robot is together and operating. Added pic of control panel. I put the electrical components in a 16x20 enclosure with a steel backplane. More photos and stl files for modifications to come.


Update 8/5/20: I'v posted a couple files to make J6 holder easier to print and more robust. It also includes a means to add a bearing for the pulley that is now printed with it.

It will require some modest supports but I find it prints quite well standing on the main bearing hub.
