This thing is an Arca-Swiss compatible camera tripod mounting plate.
The tripod attachment is done by adding a common 1/4-20 nut into the print and that allow for a secure and reliable threaded connection.
If you are going to be using this plate with any valuable equipment, please consider purchasing an aluminum mount with known performance whereas this part comes with no warranty for performance.
