AreoLid

A wide mouth lid that turns a mason jar into hydroponic system that fits the standard areo-garden baskets.

There are two openings in the lid. One for the areo-garden basket, and one for an aquarium air pump to keep the water circulating and aerated.


If you're interested in making your own, you'll need some [jars](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B093D15VXL?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) (darker jars are better for avoiding algae), and a [pump](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DK5F5HG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). Areo-garden sells a number of starter kits like [this one](https://www.amazon.com/AeroGarden-Gourmet-Herb-Seed-3-Pod/dp/B0042VK7TW?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1) too. This will the include the seeds, baskets, sponges, and plant food.

Note that there are cheaper knockoff baskets, but this lid is designed specifically for the shape of the name-brand baskets.
