Arlo Doorbell Plinth

This is simply a stand-off to raise the doorbell off the surface slightly so that cables can be passed into the back of it.

One issue that I've discovered with the Arlo doorbell is that when connecting it to low voltage legacy cabling, it assumes that the cabling comes from a hole in the wall. The doorbell would then simply screw across the top of it.

If (like me) your legacy doorbell cabling needs to be fed in from one side, the doorbell isn't particularly suited to doing this. Basically, it won't mount flat on the wall surface. This means that you either need to dig a channel into the wall or find a way to raise it off the surface so that you can pass the cables beneath.
