Arm Orthosis developed for Master Thesis, based on the design of the 3D printed WREX.
A passive mechanism is used to compensate for the gravity of the arm weight using regular desktop elastic bands or similar, a servomotor can be attached to improve the control of the mechanism. The design was developed to aid children with progressive muscular dystrophies.
Original files were designed in Autodesk Inventor and are available to download in the following page:
