This is my second prototype for helping align COSPLAY armor and other structural builds of various purposes.
Problem: With large armor pieces that had to be cut to multiple pieces either for the ability to actually place it on a human or for small printer sizes, I found that velcro alone wouldn't hold things exactly in place either while just suiting up or while trooping. This became apparent when building my armor for the Grand Inquisitor, Star Wars Rebels.
Attempted Solution:
The thought was that if I could glue in place a male and female tab onto the armor then my pieces could slide into place exactly the same every time. Kind of like puzzle pieces. I could then use the standard velcro and/or elastic snaps that all the Stormtroopers and other people use.
My armor is different than a standard storm trooper as 2-4 pieces may need to look like one where a Stormtroopers armor are separated deliberately. I just couldn't get mine around my neck without some sort of separ
