Magnetic Armrest Lock — Installation Guide

I broke my original lock on the middle armrest, so I designed a magnetic replacement.

1. Preparing the First Piece

Sand down the remaining old plastic.

Cut away the rubber elements to ensure a clean and flat mounting surface.

2. Preparing the Second Piece

Remove the old lock mechanism.

Glue the new printed frame in its place.

When printing, add a manual pause at around the 100th layer to insert the magnets.
