Art Deco Desk Clock

I came across this clock and liked the concept but saw that the design could be improved. The original had a gap between the main body and fins on the left side and I have included a version that only fixes the gap. The geometry is a little clunky so editing it further may be difficult. I have not printed this version so I cannot guarantee that it will work as expected.

The design is simple enough that I decided to recreate the model from scratch. The new model is made to work with the cheap clock mechanisms you can buy on Amazon:

The important part is the thread shaft length; I designed the clock to work with a shaft length of 9 mm. A shorter shaft will not reach the face of the clock. A longer shaft can be used; the hands will either protrude from the face of the clock significantly, or you can add spacers so that the mechanism protrudes from the back.
