Art Deco Mantle Clock

This is a replica of an art deco General Electric alarm clock from the 1920's. It uses a battery operated quartz clock movement.

I spray painted the assembly with black enamel and used a gold paint marker for the details on the front. I painted the dial face ivory colored, darkened the faces on raised numerals with a black Sharpie Marker and applied decals with the GE the Telechron logos. I provided a .jpg file with the logos to print onto a sheet of blank water slide decal paper.

Buy the blank decal paper for your type of printer: laser jet or ink jet, there are many sources online. The movement (Item #: 33698) and glass lens (3-7/8" Convex Glass, Item #: 14050) are from timesavers.com
