Assistive/adaptive microswitch housing

This is another iteration of my microswitch housing designs. I've principally tested this type of switch with individuals having SMA or muscular dystrophy, but persons with SCI may also benefit if the injury has greatly reduced finger mobility. This design may also incorporate a miniature NO/NC switch in the rear (largest) cavity, with a channel carved alongside for easier fitting of a re-purposed stereo or mono cable with 3.5mm jack.

The vertical cavity that's carved into one end of the finger arch is sized to accept a trimmed "hook-and-loop"/Velcro cable wrap. A small rectagle of this material can be epoxied to the flat vertical face, allowing a cable wrap to softly secure the switch to a finger (or toe).
