The only real thing missing from my Astral Pulse model was of course, the glow. While there is likely just enough space for a 3v coin cell and an led bulb directly in the Pulse itself, I wanted mine to live on my desk and be powered over usb instead of a battery to run as a little decor lamp all the time. Thus I created this dock/stand, based off of the dock inside the Mecha Man suit.

The lighting circuit itself is extremely simple, it's just a white led bulb and resistor hooked up to the 5v power of an old broken cable I had lying around. I didn't have a power switch, but that would also be very easy to wire in. The light simply shines through the hole at the end of the pulse. You could also use something like a cheap candle light with a white or blue led, but that would require the base to be modified somewhat to make the space.

The led bulb is just hot glued into place.

It doesn't look as good irl as these photos, something about the photo post-processing makes the effect look b
