I wanted to add a gotek floppy emulator to my Atari ST but also keep the internal disk drive in place so this build lets you mount the PCB to the shielding behind the floppy drive with a housing to mount to the top of the case giving you an oLED, rotary encoder, USB port and switch to change between drive A and B.
It is a fairly tricky mod as you need to either remove the floppy cable and power cable (to fit headers) or you'll need to get pass through splitter cables. It also requires a patch wire to be run from the external floppy connector to pin 12 of the internal floppy header. You further need to remove the USB port, buttons and LED from the gotek board and wire up to the housing.
This is a remix of the Amiga oLED and encoder housing created by Kari (available on printables)
