What:
Replica of Atlas Statue by Bruno D'Arcevia (Italy), but without the ball. Ideal for carrying small ball-shaped objects, e.g. tennis balls, ball shaped twisty puzzles or the like!
Inspired by RyanPuzzleTwo 's make (see remix) and this twistypuzzle forum post:http://www.twistypuzzles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=30794
The source scan of the statue is available online (licence unknown?!) in framework of the Scan the world, at https://www.myminifactory.com/object/atlas-at-arcevia-italy-17047
The ball size is rescaled to 50 mm (statuette is rescaled to fit this size),
Used STL to Openscad source (see remix) to make it customisable in customizer.
Size of statue (with a ball with a diameter of 50 mm) should be around:
* Without ball (base to finger): 61.1 mm (Length) x 47.3 mm (Width) x 115.6 mm (Height),
* approx size including 50 mm ball: 74 x 60 x 128 mm
SOURCE files included too.
Update:
* placed STL inline, making it fully customizable now!
