Atomstack X7 Pro Drag Chain Mount

This mount can be used to add drag chains to an Atomstack X7 Pro laser cutter/engraver to eliminate the risk of the cables entering the work area, particularly in combination with the large area introduced with the extension kit. The mount is screwed onto the stepper motor back using slightly longer M3 screws. The drag chain platform is elevated to increase the diameter of the semicircle the drag chain forms at the X and Y axis ends. That is intended to minimize the mechanical stress the cables are exposed to and avoids constricting the air flow in the air-assist tubing (part of a custom air-assist implementation).
