Needed to be able to remotely connect between an amplifier and a set of speakers mounted on a shelf under my work bench. I use the amp and speakers for testing other audio equipment that is brought in for repair. The INPUT jacks go to an input on the amp, the AMP jacks go to the amp speaker out and the SPEAKER (SPKR) jacks go to the remote speakers. Jumper wires placed between the AMP and SPKR jacks allow you to connect a test device such as a CD Player or Tape Deck to the INPUT and listen to the device on the testing amp and speakers. Removing the jumper wires breaks the connection between the AMP and SPKR jacks allowing you to connect speakers you want to test to the AMP connections. If you have an amp you need to test connect its speakers to the SPKR to use the remote speakers. See picture for location of the wire jumpers. I used 18 awg speaker wire to connect between the patch bay and the remote amp and remote speakers as well as the short patch wires and an old RCA audio cabl
