Audio/VFO knob weight container

A replacement for the inner plastic ring within the Audio/VFO knob to add M10 washers for more mass while turning.

To loosen the glue and plastic within the knob I used 180° deg heat of a hot air gun. Carefully lever with two small screw drivers the knob off the rotary sensor. Once off, remove the plastic and glue within the aluminum knob.

Fill the printed part with four M10 washers and secure them with thin superglue.

Glue the printed part upside down in the aluminum knob.

While the device is completely disassembled you might have the idea to replace the blue LED with a red one. Reassemble. Enjoy.
