This is an open type case for an Arduino Uno board that accommodates a shield and is secured in place with two snaphooks. Tested and used with an Arduino CNC shield. Not all shields rise above the Arduino the same height, simply adjust the height of the snaphooks to accommodate the different height that your shield will rise. Also in this case design are two sunken holes to secure the base to a 2020 type aluminum rail commonly used on 3D printer frames. The screw holes are designed for M3 type screws, length can be any size. To secure my case to my 2020 type rail I used 5mm length screws. This case fits the Arduino Uno perfectly, the pegs help keep it in place but won't keep it from falling out if tilted beyond 90 degrees. To combat the falling out of the board I added snaphooks on the case that keeps it tight between the shield and the case.
