I decided to start this project because stock frame is very fragile - in lightest crash camera tower pops out, duct brakes and so on.
Copter weight increased only 3.7gr after the mod. But the frame is much stronger than the stock cabon. Weight increase is due to the M2 screws I used for the frame and motors also.
M2 gives better joints and allows use softmonts for the the motors (stock screwsare cone). I STRONGLY RECOMEND SOFTMOUNTS like these http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2211030
otherwise no matter stock or moded copter with float or vibrate. Softmounts is a MUST for microcopters.
There are several versios for usage with stocks screws or M2 and with or without softmounts. Stock/M2 has screw shaft difference by 0.2mm, soft/nosoft has difference in ducts hight position - diff
