Automatic Powder Dispenser

The purpose of this device is to dispense predetermined amounts of drink mix, such as: hot chocolate, sugar, or powdered flavoring. It includes the choice of three different sizes: small, medium, and large. There are three design options. The first is fully manual; a knob is rotated to release the powder. The second uses a servo to control the knob and three LED's to indicate the amount of powder that will be dispensed. This option uses two buttons to control the desired size, either small, medium, large, or unlimited. Holding the button allows the unlimited feature to be utilized, releasing powder until the button is released. The third option uses an LCD screen to indicate the desired size choice, along with the status of the servo motor: either "in progress" or "ready". It also uses two buttons in the same way as the second option: to choose the desired size.
