This project presents the design of an autonomous floating system developed to operate in water environments for depth and temperature data collection. The system is intended to move vertically (diving and rising) to analyze conditions at different level at water. The structure consists of a transparent acrylic body to allow visual monitoring of internal components. The top and base plates are manufactured from Artelon material to provide strength and durability. The float is divided into two main compartments: an upper chamber that houses electrical components, and a lower chamber designed for water interaction and buoyancy control. A DC pump is integrated to control the buoyancy of the system, enabling it to descend and ascend in a controlled manner. The main objective is to reach and maintain a midpoint between the water surface and the bottom while collecting depth and temperature data. The design emphasizes simplicity, functionality, and suitability for experimental and student research applications.
