(Update 1/17/18) I made improvements on the model and now you don't have to scale it up before printing. fixed an issue where loops would print at overhang speeds.

Floating a seed in a cradle like this is better than the conventional toothpick method because it allows for the seed to stay at a consistent water level because it moves with the water as it evaporates or is consumed by the plant. This removes the need for you to constantly watch and refill the water level for the seed.

Note: The smaller the vessel its in, the Water will need to be changed more regularly. As with any method of seed starting, this is not really avoidable. It is essential that you do this to avoid mold or fouled water.

This is designed to float an Avocado seed in water to allow it to sprout and grow before transplanting it. This works for my avocado seeds but if it doesn't work for you, you may need to scale it up for added buoyancy if you have a larger than typical avocado seed.
