Have a campervan? Protect your awning by using this awning saver on your side door. Rips and tears can be prevented.IntroductionThis is the Awning Saver, with added Grogu, because why not?Update: Added blank version.Do you own a campervan with an awning, does your side door get a bit to close for comfort when you have your awning out? The awning saver will help protect your awning. It fits onto the corner of your side door and allows the awning to rub against a smooth surface, in turn preventing any accidental rips or tears. This model is for use on the left side door but I will upload a right side version in due course. The awning saver has been tested on the T5 Camper, it will also work on the T5.1, T6 and T6.1If your side doors are similar to the ones on the vehicles listed above, I'm sure there is no reason why this handy camping tool could not work for you.Print Settings.1 Layer Height50% Infill (Gyroid)40mm/sIroning [On]No SupportsPlace on the flat faceThe settings above are what I used. Layer height is up to you but the lower it is, the smoother your spherical end is going to be. 50% makes the part solid, I used gyroid but again, your part, your preference. The slow print speed here is because I chose a silk filament, base the print speed on your filament. There is no need for supports on this model and make sure to place the model on its flat face for printing.
