Model on left in photo was made by my dad while he was in the Philippines during WWII. Many service men made "trench art" during their free time. It is made entirely of bullets and shell casings with the base made of a 105mm shell case.
I needed some practice with Fusion360 so made a model of a model. You will need some basic model tools as in the photo and a bit of skill to put it together but is a rather straight forward assembly.
I put holes in several places to use a piece of 1.75 filament for alignment and assembly. I did needed to clean the holes out using a #50/.07" drill a 5/64 drill would more than likely work also.
The four motors have holes that line up with holes in the wing, I used a short piece of filament with a drop of super glue on it to attach the motors then cut the filament off flush. Be sure the holes are on the bottom of the wing. I did the same with the top cab on the fuselage, don't do as I did and turn the hole down. The back hole is used for moun
