BA15-type lamp sockets

Lamp sockets for BA15s (single filament) and BAY15d (dual filament) bajonet-fitting lamps as widely used in automotive lighting.
I have made the side contact from a 5 mm wide strip of thin copper foil. One end of the strip can be inserted from the outside in, into the top slot of the fitting, then folded over the top rim to the inside and then at the bottom end through the bottom slot outwards again. Pul tight and, if required, apply a small spot of solder where the strip leaves the bottom of the fitting.
The small spring needed underneath the center-piece, can be made by yourself or found in your parts-bin ;-) . I have made it by winding a piece op 0.8 mm welding wire in the grooves of a standard metric M10 bolt, removing it from the bolt and cutting the resulting spiral to length (3 or 4 windings are sufficient).
Add any form of mounting points etc. as needed, to the design using your design program of choice that can handle STL imports!
