Baby gate latch

I design this simple latch for our baby gates around the house. Our dogs keep opening the gates with their nose or just pushing throught as they are a bit long and the lock that comes with the gate is not strong enough. just need to add a screw and a bolt on the hole to hold it or even without it should work good I have been using this for a while and work perfect to stop them from opening while keeping it easy for us to open with just one hand. we have two pitbulls and no matter how hard they push the latch won't break. should work in most baby gates ( the wide of the inner part is 20mm) but I am gonna also add the original file so can be modify as needed.
