Replica Hoverboard from Back to the Future part 2. All parts for the bottom of the board are printed as well as the footplate on the top of the board. I also included a hole cover to mimic the area where the handlebars would have been attached.
The board itself was made out of 3/4 inch plywood with approximate dimensions of 8in by 28in. About three inches were cut and beveled on the back of the board to give the end a slight angle of about 25 degrees. The edges were chamfered and painted magenta.
I used full sheet sticky labels for the decals. I've included an SVG of the graphics I created based on reference photos. These are printed and the seams are cut along the diagonal lines, which hide them a bit better. While I used normal sticky labels, finding weatherproof ones may be better if you plan on using this prop outdoors where it may get wet/dirty.
