Backlit LED Lithophane Stand

Backlit LED Lithophane Stand I designed to fit a 150mm Lithophane I made over at: http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/

I have included all SLDPRT and STL files so please feel free to modify/use/customize and share to your hearts content..

For the cap I drilled 2 small holes post-print to suit some plastic screws I had spare. Two turned out to be plenty to hold everything together.

The electricals are a mish-mash of bits I had in the salvage pile (one g4 3w LED bulb, one variable resistor from a cheapo camping lamp, a 12v power supply and I added a 100k resistor to tone everything down a little and prevent the LED from getting hot.

As can be seen in the pics I also lined the inside using aluminium foil mounted on double sided tape, which I highly recommend, as it greatly improved the quality of the lighting.

Very little post-print cleaning was needed and so long as there are no nobs or bumps in the slots everything should fit together without a fight.
