So, since I have moved up to a larger size aquarium now my little filter bubblers is not getting the job done. SO I wanted to go industrial! Sort of. I quickly realized that a filter bag was the way to go for me but I had trouble finding them here and it was impossible to find any mounting options at all. So I made my own!

Size: Used for bags with a 100 mm Diameter. Inlet port is for 1cm hoses and tapered to accept slightly bigger ones too. I used a 20% infill, the shells alone should make it waterproof but I want with 20 to make it quite beefy.

How to use: Just slide the ring up to the flange of the bag, make sure it fits your filter, as some filters vary in size even though they are specified at one size... (Ask me how I know this.). Place the cone part on top of the ring and just zip tie both parts together in the 4 clasps and it makes a pretty darn good seal on its own. Connect it to a pump with a 10mm hose and it's done!
