My Balco printer came with a 500g roll of filament. Everything worked fine. I then purchased a 1kg roll and things went bad. The prints looked like they were being starved of plastic (had holes). I then realised the new 1kg roll was not being rolled easily. So, I made this new holder.

Takes 3 x 10mm wide, 12mm core (hole dimension) bearings. The outside diameter is your choice. I use 32mm diameter ones.

In the photo you will see the original black nut that came with the Balco. The printed parts are white PLA.

I used a 40% infill for strength.

Print the thread and nut with support turned off.
