Ball and Threaded Socket with Nut, Base, Round Clamp

Slightly scaled up ball and socket joint, with optional base and round clamp. It seems to me that when you scale up the size, you need to reduce the length of the socket "fingers" as increasing the size uniformly means the fingers need to bend farther for the ball to be place in the socket. I wanted the ball to not be able to fall out, so I added a slightly tapered threaded "nut". The nut is narrower toward the side with no outside texture.

Works well - it doesn't quite lock into place, but when using the nut, the ball is secured in the socket.
