Ball joint nut

This is a replacement nut for the ball joint securing the rod to the cell phone clamp for an IPOW Truck Cell Phone Mount. The original nut thread tolerances were poor and easily jumped threads when tightened. The mount I have is the pre-2018 model. Changes were made to the product update, but I think the nut is the same.

The nut threads were designed with a taper (approximately 2-3 degrees) to allow a stronger grip as it tightens. The tolerance is fairly tight, so depending on your extrusion settings the part may work better if you scale part on the X and Y axes a couple percent larger. (don't mess with Z as it will change TPI)

Print in ABS or nylon if using inside a car. PLA will not hold up on a hot summer day.
