Ball Mount Map Light Adapter

This adapter connects an aircraft map light socket to 1" RAM Mount hardware. (Shout out to RAM Mounts for their excellent hardware!) The nominal size of the sockets is 3/8" (0.375) but every aircraft has worn differently. Hence, the multiple size.

You will need a machine screw and nut to finish this. I also recommend threadlocker.

My best results where with PET because of its excellent layer adhesion and sheer resistance. ABS split on the layer lines when people torqued the ball. This turned it into an uncontrollable swivel - whomp whomp. PET didn't have this problem. I wouldn't recommend PLA since cockpits can get pretty hot and might lead to warpage/seapage.
