Balsa Notch Cutter V2

Balsa wood notch slot cutter for model plane leading and trailing edges used in wings. Use a spring that fits the inside the inside tube. Stretch the spring to give good return pressure if need be. Use a standard hack saw blade broken into 2 pieces as the cutter. The size of the hack saw blade pieces should be a neat fit to the outside tube slot and protrude slightly into the inside tube slot when assembling to give good alignment. The blades can be inserted on an angle with outer compressed first. Then push blades back into place.. The blades will use the inside slot as a end stop. Pla plus is adequate for strength. Blades are tight fit. I Used this tool for slow precision notching on a Ringmaster S1 Control line plane leading edge. Better than power tools for control of precise cutting.
