The Auto-refill with Bambu AMSs is a great feature, but it only allows exact material and colour matches. Sometimes you want to use the same material in different colours to use up partial roles of filament etc. This nicknack hides the built in RFID tags on Bambu spools so that they read as generic filament. Thus you can enter your own settings for the filament and trick the AMS into allowing multicolour auto-refills with Bambu spools. When printed you need to glue or sticky-tape a piece of metal foil, about 35mm wide, onto the tip of the shield as shown in the photo. In use it is just pushed into the hole of the spool so that it sits flush and aligned with the tag(s). It shouldn't impinge on AMS operation if it is seated properly.
