bar tap (knob)

Model origen:I designed this model to replace a broken injection molded faucet knob at a bar. As regular replacement knobs aren't available and replacing the entire faucet cost between one- and twohundred euros. So I decided to go the more sustainable route and design my own taking measurements to closely match the origional. You can put it on by heatpressing it on the knurling. Aplication:To put your printed knob on the faucet you should heat the faucet knurling with a fire. A lighter works tho you will need to heat it for quite a couple of minutes before it's hot enough. So I suggest using a ‘jet lighter’ or ‘creme brule burner’ and going at it for about a minute and then quickly pressing the knob on. after that you should let it cool for at least an hour before using it to ensure the plastic is hard enough.
