Baratza Encore ESP Shim

I present to you here a few shims for your Baratza Encore ESP coffee grinder. A friend of mine approached me because his grinder was already set at its finest setting and still ground so coarse, the coffee could not be used for making espresso anymore. Since I own this grinder as well, I disassembled it and took a few measurements to make these shims. So far, the grinder works flawlessly and produces good results. There are two types of shims, both in .5mm and 1mm height:Type 1 (large, 3 holes): this is set between the plastic part in the grinder and the conical burr, as seen in the images.I'd recommend trying a single .5mm shim here first.Type 2 (small, 1 hole): this is set below the metal shim that's located under the plastic part seen in the pictures.If the .5mm Type 1 isn't enough, add a .5mm here afterwards. I'd go no higher than 1mm here.If you put too many shims here, your grinder WILL retain more ground coffee, since this shim props up the plastic part, which is
