A super easy design, but looking great on the table: Barbed wire!
Basically, this is just 5 steel rods glued together with some wire, but I'm really happy with the results. I used a super standard iron wire (like what you can get for crafting, flowers or anything), took 1m of it, folded it around a piece of filament and put both ends into a drilling machine. I then twisted the wire until I was happy with the result. This twisted wire can now be rolled by hand around an Armypainter paint bottle lid, or around the "CylinderHelper" here. Make sure to remove a bit of material on both ends (but only after rolling), because they are not twisted equally.
To assemble the steel rods, I added the "AssemblyHelper" to help you glue two of the short beams together, and then "TotalAssemblyHelper" to glue the missing big rod to the two small X pieces you just glued together. Afterwards, I "screwed" in the twisted, rolled wire and glued it to the steel rods on both ends.
