Barbie Dunk Tank

We had a fall festival for kids at church. Someone suggested a dunk tank/booth, but a full size one wasn't possible, so I created a Barbie Dunk Tank. I gave kids the option of 5 nerf rival foam balls for a challenge, or 3 foam golf balls for less of a challenge to try to throw at the target to dunk Barbie. The dunk tank proved to be a smashing success, and other than the red target circle, it held up to over an hour of abuse from the kids. The red target is a weak spot if printed flat because of the layer lines, but that could be tweaked or printed differently.


Using a 2 gallon bucket from the "blue home improvement store," I cut off the top of the bucket to the correct height. Once I dialed in the position of the bucket on the base, I just used a bead of hot glue to keep the base under the bucket in the correct position. I intended to cut a window in the bucket and use clear plastic so Barbie could be seen underwater just like the real thing, but I ran out of time. The nett
